The Imperial Sword from Epic Armoury’s Stronghold Master Collection is a blade built for presence. Inspired by the grounded look of historical longswords and the clean lines of low fantasy, the Imperial Sword blends function with striking detail. Its long, fullered blade flows into a strong hexagonal base, with the longer version featuring a sculpted ricasso for better leverage and grip. That ricasso detail doesn’t just look impressive; it also provides practical control for those who prefer to vary their fighting style between cuts and thrusts.

The hilt is where the Imperial Sword earns its name. The spiral crossguard twists away from the blade to lead into the spiral pommel, which echoes the design, creating a beautiful and sturdy piece. The hilt is cast from a single piece, ensuring the sword has durability while maintaining impressive detail. The grip is also wrapped in leather, providing a secure grip with comfortable handling and excellent performance in battle or during long gaming sessions. The oval shape of the grip allows for good maneuverability and an instinctive feel for directional cuts.

Like all Stronghold Masters, the Imperial Sword is made with full-contact LARP in mind. The latex-free injection-molded EVA foam blade surrounds an oval fiberglass core, reinforced with a tube tip for safety and impact resistance. This construction makes it lighter and more balanced than earlier Stronghold designs, reducing fatigue and giving you more control during extended battles or all-day events. It’s a sword you can rely on for durability without sacrificing looks or performance.

Available in two lengths: 102 cm and 120 cm , and two color schemes, Steel Gray or Gold, the Imperial Sword adapts to different characters and styles. The steel finish is classic and versatile, fitting into nearly any medieval or fantasy setting. The gold version boasts a more striking, ornate appearance, ideal for commanders, champions, or those who want their blade to catch the spotlight.
